Balscote Quarry 25th January

The Great Grey Shrike was showing well but distant on the hedgerow at the back of the Quarry.
Tree Sparrows were showing well at the feeders.

Cattle Egret, Steeple Claydon 19th Jan

The bird was seen feeding amongst the cows in front of Briarhill Farm.The bird was to far off to be able to get any decent shots of it.

A few record shots of the Siberian Chiffchaff (Tristis) feeding in trees with at least 6 Chiffchaffs (collybita).
At least 2 Cetti's Warblers were singing, one seen quite well.
1 Water Rail was heard squealing. A few Goldcrests were feeding in the trees.
Redpoll and Siskins were seen flying over calling, also Red kite.
