Silchester Common, Pamber Forest & Decoy Heath, Hants/Berks, Sat 30th May

Decided to head South today to see what dragonflies were around. I was a little worried about how busy it might of been on the reserves but fortunately when we got there it wasn't to bad. While walking around Silchester I was pleased to find Silver Studded Blues on the wing.

20+ Palmate Newts were seen in the remaining pools around silchester and Pamber Forest.
A few Common Spotted and Southern Marsh Orchids were just coming into flower at Decoy Heath.
